Cookie policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They allow the website to recognise your browser again, for example to keep a form secure or to remember a choice you made. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as the local storage of your browser.

2. Our approach: as few cookies as possible

All fonts, icons and images of this website are delivered from our own server. Besides the strictly necessary cookies, we only use the optional tools listed below, and only after you have allowed their category.

3. Legal basis

Under Art. 45c of the Swiss Telecommunications Act (TCA) we must inform you about the use of cookies, their purpose and how you can refuse them. Any processing of personal data connected with cookies is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies (for example for visitors from the European Union), by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Strictly necessary cookies are used because the website cannot work securely without them; they do not require your consent. Any other cookie would only be set after you have actively allowed its category (opt-in). Refusing is as easy as accepting, and you can change your mind at any time.

4. Cookies we use

All cookies set by this website
Name	Category	Purpose	Storage period	Provider
`__Host-csrftoken`	Strictly necessary	Protects our forms (quote request, contact) against cross-site request forgery. It contains a random security token only.	1 year	ProntaMano (first party)
`__Host-sessionid`	Strictly necessary	Keeps staff members logged in to the administration area and, after you send a quote request, briefly remembers its reference number for the confirmation page.	8 hours	ProntaMano (first party)
`messages`	Strictly necessary	Shows a one-time confirmation message after a staff member saves a change in the administration area.	Deleted as soon as the message has been shown	ProntaMano (first party)
`pm_consent`	Strictly necessary	Stores your cookie choices (or that you have read the cookie notice) so that we do not ask you again on every page.	1 year	ProntaMano (first party)
`_ga` Google Analytics	Statistics	Distinguishes visitors by a random number, so that Google Analytics can count them.	2 years	Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA
`_ga_CZE6FL4ZWX` Google Analytics	Statistics	Keeps the state of your current visit for Google Analytics.	2 years	Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA

6. Other storage in your browser

The administration area, which is used only by our staff, may remember the last selected language tab of its editing forms in the local storage of the browser. This convenience setting never leaves the browser and does not concern visitors of the public website.

7. How to refuse or withdraw your consent

You can give, change or withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future: use the settings on this page or the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. When you refuse or withdraw it, Google Analytics stops and its cookies are deleted from your browser.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, usually in the privacy or security settings; the help pages of your browser explain how. Please note that if you block strictly necessary cookies, forms such as the quote request or the contact form may no longer work.

8. Storage period

Your cookie choice is kept for 12 months. After that, or when we change the purposes for which we use cookies, we ask you again. The other cookies are deleted automatically at the end of the storage period shown in the table above, or earlier if you delete them in your browser.

9. Your rights and contact

Our privacy policy explains how we process personal data and which rights you have, for example to access, correct or delete your data.

If you have questions about cookies, please write to us at contact@prontamano.ch.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the European Union, with the data protection authority of your country.

10. Changes to this policy

We update this policy whenever the use of cookies on our website changes. The current version is always published on this page.
